On the afternoon of January 4, 2010 at the Saigon - Quy Nhon Hotel, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province held a Press Meeting on Investment Promotion Conference into Binh Dinh 2010. Chairman Nguyen Van Thien and leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment, Binh Dinh Economic Zone Administration chaired the Press Meeting. Joining the Meeting were more than 20 newspaper reporters, Vietnam central and local TV stations.

Opening the Press Meeting, Mr Le Van Tam, Director of Department of Planning and Investment, Deputy Director of the Conference Organization Committee informed reporters about the purpose, audiences and detailed program of the conference; simultaneously introducing the names of donors.

Reporters representing the press and television agencies had many questions about the conference agenda, preparation by the province and priority fields, projects calling for investment in the upcoming conference.

Speaking at the Press Meeting, Chairman Nguyen Van Thien informed the representatives of news agencies, newspapers, radio and TV stations that the conference has many differences and better preparation than the other ones. Before the conference, the provincial leaders have worked with many big corporations, companies in Hanoi and HCM City to call for investment and have achieved positive results. In particular, this conference is also attended by the Standing Committee of the Government, the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the representatives of some central agencies.

Chairman Nguyen Van Thien also committed to continue administrative procedure reform to improve the investment and business environment of the province which contributes to make Binh Dinh become attractive destination for investors.
