On the morning of 12^th August, at LongVan intersection of Tran Quang Dieu ward, the People’s Committee of Quy Nhoncity and Phuc Loc Group Joint Stock Company launched the opening ceremony forthe construction of Long Van – Long My route. This is one of the keytransportation projects to upgrade the traffic system and improve the localsocio-economic growth.

The ceremonywas attended by the leaders of the national government, Binh Dinh People’sCommittee and relevant sectors.

Accordingto the planning, the route will have a length of more than 7 km, the startingpoint is to connect with the national highway 1D at km 1+670 and the endingpoint to connect with the national highway 1A on the way to Long My Industrialpark. The route is designed to have a width of 22.5m with 6 lanes, pavements oneach side are 7.5m wide with a separating strip of 4.5m wide. The project isinvested by Phuc Loc Group Joint StockCompany with a capital of VND 995 billion. This is the first Build-Transfer(BT) project in Binh Dinh with construction duration of 36 months from 2012-2015.

Mr LuongMinh Truong, Chairman of the Company’s Management Council asserted that withtheir capacity and very thorough preparation of Long Van-Long My route projectover the last few years, the company is determined to fulfill their commitmentsto Binh Dinh province. They also hope to be supported by the local government,people and sectors to carry out the project as approved.
