On 19^thSeptember 2012, after the talks with four economic organizations in Kansai, theJapan-Vietnam Friendship Association in the city of Sakai and the FriendshipAssociation in Kansai area, a conference to promote investment in Binh Dinh wasorganized by the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) in collaboration withVietnam Consulate General in Osaka with the participation of   hundredsof Japanese enterprises, especially Mr Osami Takeyama – the Mayor of Sakai city. Photo:View of the workshop.

After the welcomingspeech made by Mr Osami Takeyama, Mayor of Sakai City, delegates watched 10minute clip of introduction about the country and people of Binh Dinh. It was followed by a presentation of Mr. Le Quoc Thinh, theVietnam Consul-General in Osaka and apresentation on the investment environment, policies, the key projects toattract investment in Binh Dinh Provinceand messages to Japanese investors made by Mr Le Huu Loc, Chairman of Binh DinhPPC. Mr. Yoshiaki Ueda, Professor ofKobe University of Delivery and Communication, Deputy Director of Japan VietnamCulture Exchange Centre; Mr. Yanagi Zenro, CEO of Nankai Kinzoku Company and MrToshimizu Okada, CEO of Quy Nhon Forest Plantation Company (QPFL) also madetheir own talks.

At the conference, thePPC and Nankai Kizoku Company leaders signed an MOU identifying each side’scommitments of cooperation.

According to the plan, on20^th September 2012, the delegation visits the port of Osakaand Daiki Suisan Group Company. Also they meets and exchanges ideas with thebusinesses trading seafood and running aquaculture in the area. The delegation willleave for Vietnamon 21^st September and complete themission.
