Investment to expand Phu My Garment Factory

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has recently approved for Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company to invest in the expansion of Phu My Garment Factory, which is located in Tra Quang Nam village, Phu My town, Phu My district.

 

Investment to expand Phu My Garment Factory

Accordingly, the factory extension is built on an area of 15,000 m2, with a total capital of 38.2 billion Vietnamese dong. The project's objective is to build a garment factory with a production capacity of 330,000 products/year. The construction will start in the fourth quarter 2020 and complete and go into operation in the second quarter 2022.

The existing Phu My Garment Factory was put into operation in 2005 and since then it has created jobs for more than 1,200 local workers. Every year, Phu My Garment Factory contributes significantly to the state budget of Phu My district. Recently, due to the actual demand at the factory, Vinatex Da Nang Joint Stock Company is working on expanding the factory to increase products for the market, increase industrial production value and bring revenue to the company. Also, the expansion of the factory is to create new jobs for about 400 local workers and improve the value of land use, contribute to the local budget and socio-economic development.

Accordingly, the expansion of the factory is built on an area of 15,000 m2, with total capital of 38.2 billion VND. The target project is to build a garment factory of all kinds with a production capacity of 330,000 products/year. The implementation period is from the fourth quarter 2020 to the second quarter of 2022.
