Binh Dinh attracts a new investor from the Netherlands

On September 8, 2023, the Economic Zone Administration issued an Investment Registration Certificate for vidaXL Group B.V Company to invest in wood, metal, rattan plastic products and furniture mattresses factory, at Lot A8, Becamex Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district.

VidaXL Group B.V Company surveyed investment locations in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and Industrial Parks in the province on March 24, 2023.

The factory shall be built on an area of 212,971 m2 with the goal of producing products from wood and metal billet, producing mattress products, foam, fabric, and woven rattan plastic. The capacity is about 108,000 m3 of fine wood billet/year, 12,000 tons of metal billet/year, 4,000 tons of mattresses and foam/year, 10 million m2 of fabrics/year, 540,000 woven rattan plastic products/year. Total project value is more than VND 763 billion, expected to officially operate by December 2028.

From the beginning of the year until now, the province has attracted 4 newly registered FDI projects, with a total value of over USD 37.1 million. Cumulatively, the whole province has 89 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 1.181 billion USD; including 49 projects outside the economic zone and industrial parks with total registered value of USD 255.88 million and 40 projects in the economic zone and industrial parks with total value of over USD 929.906 million, including 2 projects with Dutch capital of over USD 52.08 million.
