During the visit to Japan, on the morning of April 8, 2024, Binh Dinh province delegation led by Mr Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee paid a visit to Izumisano City Hall, Osaka (Japan) and had a meeting with the Izumisano city government. The delegation was welcomed Mr. Hiroyasu Chiyomatsu - Mayor of Izumisano City, two Deputy Mayors and members of the Civil Cooperation Office.

As the gateway city to Kansai International Airport, Izumisano city has declared itself an "international city" to promote collaboration with many countries around the world, including Viet Nam. During this meeting with the Binh Dinh province delegation in Izumisano city, Mayor Hiroyasu Chiyomatsu expressed his joy and asserted that the meeting was a great opportunity for exchanges between businesses for the economic development of the two countries. He said that with the province's impressive potentials, Izumisano city can establish a friendly relationship with Binh Dinh province in the near future.

The Mayor expressed his appreciation for the province's support for the trip of students from Izumisano’s high schools to Binh Dinh. He hoped to continue to organize trips to Binh Dinh province, not only for students but also for the people and businesses of Izumisano city.

The Mayor of Izumisano city had sent a thank you letter to Mr Ho Quoc Dung and wished Binh Dinh mission to Japan great success and hoped that the partnership between the two localities would always be sustainable.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung gratefully thanked Izumisano city leadership for warm welcome for Binh Dinh province delegation and hoped that the Mayor and the Izumisano city delegation would come to Binh Dinh in the nearest future.

He added that Binh Dinh province was currently upgrading Phu Cat airport into an International Airport and expected to have flights to welcome people and businesses of Izumisano city to Binh Dinh in the near future.
