Announcement of PCI Index 2024: Binh Dinh has improved its score compared to 2023

According to PCI 2024, Binh Dinh achieved 68.1 points, an increase of 0.66 points compared to 2023, ranked 27/63, in the group of 30 provinces and cities with the best governance quality.
On the morning of May 6, 2025 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index PCI 2024. According to the presentation of PCI results, there are 02 groups: a group of 30 provinces and cities with the highest Provincial Competitiveness Index scores and a group of remaining provinces and cities.
Binh Dinh province continues to be in the group of 30 localities with the best governance quality in 2024. PCI 2024: Binh Dinh ranked 27th, up by 0.66 points compared to 2023.
Of the 10 component indexes, 5 indexes increased in points: Market entry; Transparency; Dynamism of the provincial government; Business support policies; Labor training. These are contents of practical significance to businesses.
In recent years, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has focused on improving administrative procedure reform, improving the investment and business environment, aiming to build a creative government, enhancing dialogue with businesses, contacting, listening and promptly resolving difficulties and problems of businesses, effectively implementing Plan No. 74/KH-UBND dated May 17, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee on improving and enhancing the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) by 2025.
The 2024 PCI Index Report marks the 20-year journey of the PCI Index being built. With the participation of 10,821 enterprises, including 9,267 domestic private enterprises and 1,554 foreign-invested enterprises (FDI enterprises) operating in Vietnam. PCI is the "collection of voices" of the domestic and foreign business community on the level of reform in each area of administration, the quality of administrative procedure settlement, the quality of human resources and infrastructure in Viet Nam.
